City Center Walking Tour

What you will see – During this tour you will visit most famous downtown sights of Kiev, among them Independence Square (MaidanNezalezhnosti) and Khrestchatik street. You will also see famous Golden Gate – the main entrance into the grand city of Kiev; St. Sofia Cathedral- the world famous historical and architectural monument of the first half of the 11th century; Michaels’ Golden-Dome Cathedral – one of the most ancient monasteries in Kiev. You will walk down Kiev’s Montmartre – Andriyivskyy Descent, see Andreevska Church – an orthodox cathedral that honors Apostle Andrew First-Called. You will take a ride in Kiev Funiculair and see Arch of Friendship of Peoples, was opened in 1982 to commemorate the 60th Anniversary of the USSR and the celebration of the 1500th Anniversary of the Kiev city.

Orthodox spirit of Kiev

What you will see – During this tour you will visit main Kiev shrines. The Kiev PecherskLavra Monastery is a complex that is made up from various fascinating buildings and sights. These diverse memories of the past all carry the strong architectural signature of the Ukrainian Baroque construction style and form a network of beautiful and spectacular structures. Together with the St. Sofia Cathedral, it is inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will also see St.Michaels’ Golden-Dome Cathedral and St. Vladimir Cathedral – one of the most beautiful temples in Kiev. It was built in the 19th century to commemorate the 900th anniversary of Russian baptizing.

Old Podol Walking Tour

World War II Glory tour

What you will see – During this tour you will be acquainted with war history of Kiev. You will see famous industrial factory “Arsenal”, Park of Glory, which is dedicated to the memory of those heroes who died defending Kiev and Ukrainian lands. Open – air Ethnic Folk architecture and life Museum in Pirogovo

What you will see – Visiting this museum will allow you to get acquainted with the life and traditions of Ukrainians to visit the homes of Ukrainians from all over the country can see Ukraine in miniature! During this tour you will hear about the features of folklore and ethnography of the Ukrainian people. Near the gardens and on the fields there you can hear of sound folk songs, often seen the work of folk art: embroiderers, weavers, carvers, blacksmiths, potters, glassblowers, other masters. You can always buy embroidery, towels, dishes, and toys made of ceramics, wooden boxes and decorations.

Museum of Chernobyl (in Kiev)

What you will see – The National museum “Chornobyl” conveys the history of those tragic-events since the 26th of April, 1992. The Nuclear accident at the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant entered the history of the humankind as the most severe radioecological disaster of the XX century.
